It is setting goals and trying to be a business person, but at the same time not losing sight of who you are writing songs for and what your goals are as a songwriter. So believe me, if you think I&#39;ve got it down I don&#39;t it is a constant struggle.

I’ve learned that if you want people to be impressed, you can talk about your successes; but if you want people to identify with you, it’s better to talk about your failures.

The actions you took yesterday will have an impact on the next day.

A sheep is to be fattened, all the better for a wolf to eat.
