No one on the street thought anything of the downtown girl dressed in black who had paused in the middle of midtown foot traffic. In her art student camouflage she could walk the entire length of Manhattan and, if not blend in, be classified and therefore ignored.

In sports, people reach their peak very early. You have to move on. I don&#39;t know if I will ever surpass what I did at the Olympics, but I&#39;m still doing the work I always wanted to do.

Look, we&#39;re all saddled with things that make us better or worse. This world is a crazy place, and I&#39;ve chosen to make my work about that insanity.
