I recognize terror as the finest emotion and so I will try to terrorize the reader. But if I find that I cannot terrify, I will try to horrify, and if I find that I cannot horrify, I'll go for the gross-out. I'm not proud.

I just don&#39;t want to talk about my personal life. I feel like it&#39;s mine, I&#39;m not trying to promote it. It&#39;s nice to have things that are your own, that you value enough that you don&#39;t have to use to sell a movie.

It was a big step, to go from not talking to people to stepping on to a stage. That&#39;s when I felt the most comfortable, because I could do anything I wanted to and say anything I wanted to, even if people didn&#39;t laugh.
