Ambition may be defined as the willingness to receive any number of hits on the nose.

We spend our lives guessing at what's going on inside everybody else, and when we happen to get lucky and guess right, we think we 'understand.' Such nonsense. Even a monkey at a computer will type a word every now and then.

Finally we are a nation with some conscience. It means alliances are extremely important when they&#39;re based on a national interest. We have to have the ability to sustain our presence within those alliances.

Every day Catholics prove that you can be a good Catholic and a good Democrat and have a different position from the Church on abortion.
