हर साल आता है वो दिन, इस साल भी आयेगा। मेरी हँसती - खेलती ज़िन्दगी का, एक वर्ष और लेकर चला जायेगा। 18 वर्ष बीत चुकी है मेरी अब इस धरती पर, आगे की भी बीत हीं जायेगी । एक हीं ज़िन्दगी तो मिली है बिताने को, ये थोड़े हीं ना लौट के फिर से वापस आयेगा। क्या पायी हूँ अब तक मैं , जो आगे खो दूँगी। अपना है हीं क्या मेरा, जो औरों को कुछ दूँगी। मेरा भूत अभी सपना है, भविष्य भी नहीं अपना है। वर्तमान को समझने में थोड़ी देर क्या हो गयी मुझसे, कि वर्तमान भी कहाँ अब अपना है वो सपने जो संजोये थे, धीरे धीरे टूट रहे हैं। पथ प्रदर्शक के साथ साथ, लक्ष्य भी सारे छूट रहे हैं। अपने घर में बैठे घुट रहे हैं, और किस्मत से हीं रूठ रहे हैं। अब कहाँ कुछ बचा है ज़िन्दगी में, दिन में भी रात की तरह सुत रहे हैं।।।।।।।।।।।?
