You work harder because everything is on the line. Your name, your honor, your family, your life. Those burger flippers might have a better life expectancy—but what kind of life is it anyway, you have to ask yourself.

The irony of our social group is that so often everyone feels this, but there&#39;s no company whatsoever in that feeling. Think of Pound&#39;s great emphasis, the way out is via the door.

I don&#39;t want to make more friends. I have four kids, I have plenty of friends, and all the personal relationships I need.
